Friday Nov 6th

No games tonight went to the Free style sled show called Fire and Ice, it was good, and then went for some drinks with a friend. Looks like tomorrow will be zero games as well as I am headed to Regina for the day... Should be working on the virtual felt but I have WED off so I guess I will put more volume in then... Today marks the end of two weeks of playing so far and I am a little under my hours per week, but there is really no way I can play anymore without killing myself due to much work...

Thursday Nov 5th

Well today marked a BIG day... I was pretty sick this morning so I had to call sick into work, I stayed in bed till noon... I woke up feeling a little better so I thought I would sit down and play some Poker, well by the end of the day I had put in 6 hours on the virtual felt and I......... CRUSHED!!! 32-16!! Nothing wrong with that record at all, gave me a profit of $408 for the day... The 3 hours I played in the afternoon went really well. I was 17-6 before sitting down for an evening session. Was not a lot of big hands that stood out really. I did see over 1200 hands today, which is quite a bit...

Well besides Poker I am pretty pumped for the sled show tomorrow night and then Saturday I will head to Regina to spend the day with my parents and then the evening with some friends and my brother... Really looking forward to having this extra poker money to pay off some bills and my parents. Once I am debt free besides my truck loan I am going to try to keep more money on the site and see how I do in the 50's... I know the games will get a lot harder in the 50's though and the 30's seem like the perfect game... WOW look at that somehow I ended up talking about Poker again.. Well better get to bed so I can get to work in the morning!

Oh ya one more thing, so we did a search on Shark Scope just since I started playing 1 game at a time, and it turns out I'm a SHARK! I am in the top 15% of all Heads Up Poker players!!

Wed Nov 4

Quick update, played a few games went 3-2 should have been 5-0, can't always run good... Right now I am trying to get involved with some of the coaching sites and make some videos... I got some really good free software that I am using right now for 30 days.

Going to put in a big session tomorrow and then take Friday off...

Nov 3rd

Going to be a quick update really... Crushed tonight... Like destroyed anyone that got in my way... 12-1!!! Mostly thanks to one guy that would not quit, 8-0 I had him so figured out I knew what he was going to do before he did plus he called a few of my bluffs which made him think I was bluffing every hand... He also ran his QQ into my AA, JJ into my QQ, but my hands held.. I am now over $1,000 profit, not to bad for 25hours of work.. making $41.41 a hour... I still believe this will be around $25 a hour but I will ride my hot streak for now... In the 30's I am actually like $50 a hour and $1200 in profit but the games I lost in the 50's bring me down...

Ok, I better get to bed because I have to get up to go to my actual job in the morning!!

Nov 2nd

WOW talk about a roller coaster!! I started the night at like 5-10, just getting RUN over like crazy!! I fop flop trips with a BIG kicker they would flop a full house, I would have AK they would have A8, they would double up then go on to win the match... So after the end of the first session I had played for 3 hours and was 9-11 so I made a nice comeback at least. I sit down to play the 2nd session and BANG 3 hands in run KK into AA... oh wait I had AA HAHA oh ya then King COMES!! arg....I ended that session at 2-1 though, it was a quick 19min session because I had supper going... THIS is where things got CRAZY!!! I went 6-3 against some loser, that I started 0-2 off with... The first game 1 hand, then 2nd 6, the 3rd game 3 hands, the 4th game 2 hands!! He could not help but push with the worse hand... I then played a little tighter and trapped him and went on to win 4 out of the next 5... This guy was INSANE!!! He wanted to keep playing but I choose to quit just because of the time I put in and I was getting tired... Guys like that you should really keep playing until they quit but this was one time I just could not do it anymore... I played for almost 4 hours and made a WHOPPING $3.04/hr!! WOOOO!! Hey better then a loss... Anytime I can run this bad and still break even you will not hear me complain...

So on another note I plan on putting in 5 hours tomorrow then taking it easy on WED, then going hard on Thursday and on Friday I am headed to Fire and Ice!! Freestyle snowmobiles!

Sunday Nov 1st

Well the new month started out with a bang... I got back from seeing my parents and my puppy around 4:30 ish.. I sat down to play off and on throughout the night. Played 3 sessions and going into session 3 I was 12-3 Was on a SICK tear... I ended up 16-9 Hit one slump of a 4 game losing streak... Overall I was playing really good, I made a few quick plays without thinking about it first but I can not be upset with the results from tonight. I am going to stick with the 30's for now, I think that the players are a lot weaker then the 50's and at the 30 level you still get a few players that are shark scoped as fish and have lost over $10,000 These are the players that make this sooo profitable.

The first game started off with a really tough opponent which went for 76 hands, this is about 40 hands over my normal game, I was able to take him down. The 2nd game I played also went for a while 50 hands, this guy was playing OK but I was just too aggressive for him and eventually took him down when he was getting desperate. From then on it was pretty easy opponents. One guy took FOREVER!! let his 15sec clock run down every hand, I am sure that some people see this as a strategy...

So other then Poker, getting pretty excited for the sledding season, I worked on my sled last night with my old man, the sled now has vents all over the place, as well as most of the decals ripped off, going to go with something custom. The sled is also going to go in to get the tunnel polished, it will look BAD ASS!! Pretty pumped for that... Other then that just spent some time on Saturday helping my parents get the house ready to put it on the market....
